Best Of The Reggae Film Festival 12th & 13th Dec. in Luton, UK


The UK Center for Carnival Arts, Luton, England will host the "Best Of The Reggae Film Festival" screenings at the multi-arts complex from 12th-13th Dec. The event is another in the series of screenings of films featured in past Reggae Film Festivals, and follows the hosting of a similar event at the Boss Sounds Festival in Newcastle, England in August. Both events were curated by Reggae Film Festival archivist Peter Gittins.


The programme of films to be screened at the Arts Festival event is:

Saturday 12th Dec.

4pm: Musically Mad - Prod.Kalle Folke (Documentary(60mins)

6pm: Why Do Jamaicans Run So Fast? - Prod.Miquel Gallofre+Nando Garcia-Guereta (61mins)

8pm till late - Reggae Night - groove to the sounds of DJ King Alfred


Sunday 13th Dec.

4pm Trenchtown: The Forgotten Land - (Documentary) Prod.James Ewart (54mins)

7pm Roots Time - Prod.Silvestre Jacobi (Feature film) (77mins)

Welcome to the 2010 Reggae Film Festival


Welcome, we're back after last February's postponement we've been working hard behind the scenes to make the 2010 Reggae Film Festival better than ever. The 2010 festival will be located at The Hilton Hotel, Kingston from 25th-27th February plus more dates to be anounced for other film screening locations in and around Kingston.
